A logo is a symbol, sign or emblem that represent ones services, products or activities. Normally, logos are created for making it easy to identify and differentiate from one brand to another. For instance, a company or organization can design its own logo that will create recognition to its customers.

In most cases, logos are graphical in nature designed to build an identity for an organization as well as its products and services. A logo is a primary identifier of an organization, used on certificates, identity cards, business cards, letterhead and advertising materials.

Depending on the organization's structure and services or products provided, a logo can contain either plain text only, only graphics or both features can be applied.

The most successful companies, institutes and organizations have their unique logos that are easier for the people's eyes to catch and the brains to memorize the logo design and details. Think of any university, car manufacturers, computer manufacturers and any government authority you know. Each of them has its own symbol or emblem.

Most of products in the World market have logos of their manufacturers for enabling customers recognize their favorite products and services from the companies or organization they know. Good examples of products having the companies' logos include the computer hardware and software materials manufactured and distributed by a Apple Company, Dell, Microsoft, Google, Intel and Adobe company, just to mention a few.

Banks such as the World Bank, Bank of Tanzania (BOT), CRDB, NMB, Barclays, NBC, etc have logos too.

Most of the professionally designed websites and blogs have logos that make it easy for users or visitor recognize and differentiate one website or blog to the others. As the internet usability increase day after day, websites and blogs or other forms of web portals are created and published online for granting access to anyone with a computer system having internet connection or access.
