What is windows 7?

Windows 7

is a one among the Versions of Microsoft Windows Operating System. Released in 2009 for being used on personal computers such as desktop computers, laptops, netbooks, notebooks and tablets, Windows 7 contains different features and improvements than the previous versions i.e. Windows XP, Me, 2000, etc.

I dare say Windows 7 is the most used Ms Windows OS in most personal computers (PCs) nowadays, after Microsoft Corporation stopped providing supports and services in Windows XP within the beginning of this year (2014).

Windows 7 has many features that make it more different from other versions of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems. When you explore this version you will find a lot of changes or differences and new compelling features. These new features include the round start button, gadgets, snap and peek features as well as the Aero effects.

Other things that make Windows 7 different from Windows XP and other previous versions, is an easy way for changing the desktop background and screen savers as well as select more background images for setting slide show on your desktop.

Also if you explore the start menu you will note that there is a search bar at the bottom, which enables users to search for their files, programs, folders and other things located in their computers.

Windows 7 also offers a capability to apply different themes on a single mouse click. Examples of these themes include system sounds and colors.

Generally, windows 7 has become a great choice for most PC users due to its cool functionality, look and feel. The Windows 7's booting sequence is faster than the previous versions. In case of compatibility, its obvious that windows 7 supports or allows different kinds of software programs to run.

Another thing which make windows 7 the best OS, is a way it allow users to store and organize their files in the good order. Windows 7 has what we call Libraries dedicated to the users for organizing their works for easy and intuitive search and access. There are four default Libraries including Documents, Music, Pictures and Videos, whereby each one is designed for a user to store specific kinds of information.

On top of that, it's pretty easy to install or upgrade to Windows 7 and the installation process takes just a few minutes than installing windows xp or other previous versions of microsoft operating system.
