Something important required: Let's now begin learning how to create a facebook account......
Choose the most effective search engine and type www.facebook.com into the search box or in the address bar located at the top of your browser. Click on the search button to get things going. Please not that when you type the above facebook URL into the address bar of your browser, the facebook home page will be displayed directly. But if you type it on the search engine search box, you will need to select an exact link for facebook home page among many results displayed as shown below:- If you find difficult for you to go to the facebook homepage click Here! You will see the facebook Sign Up screen as shown below Provide the following information by typing on the respective text-boxes provided:
Note that your password must contain different kinds of characters such as Numerals, Alphabets and symbols and make sure the characters are in both Uppercase and Lowercase to ensure effectiveness in securing your facebook account against unauthorized access and controls. Additionally, I recommend that it's risky to use phrases and words that are available in dictionaries and other places, such as boy, Tanga, Big, Tanzania, etc. Make your password simple for you to remember once you want to Log In into your account. After entering the above information, select your gender (Female/Male) by clicking on any of the radio buttons located beside the text, and lastly click on the 'Sign Up' button.
This step is for finding and connecting with friends. If you know and believe that your friends are already on facebook, you can click on any of the email programs listed under this step and let Facebook search for your friends' contacts. Here you will be required to sign in to your email account to confirm your email and accept the sharing of information between your email and facebook accounts. When you finish finding friends, click on the 'Save & Continue' text link located to the bottom right. If you want to find friends later you can skip this step by clicking on the 'skip' link residing to the bottom right of the screen.
This is the step for filling out information as required in the boxes. Information required here is your High School name, College or University name, your current employer name, current city and your Home town. When you finish filling your information, click on the 'Save & Continue' or you can skip this step and do it after having your facebook created.
This step offers you with an option to like pages that seems of importance to you such as Musicians, Public figures, breaking news, etc so that you will have an opportunity to receive their content's Updates directly on your Facebook News Feed. For instance if you like the Musician's page, you will receive alerts notifying you about the new updates on their activities. Click on ‘save and continue’ link to go to the last step.
In this step, you have an option to take a photo of your preference (I recommend to upload yours) that will represent you on your facebook profile. This will create attention to the people who come into contact with your facebook profile and it will make them trust and feel they are connected to a really person, and not a fake one. You can skip this step but it is important to remember uploading it the next time you begin setting up your facebook profile. Click on save and continue and you will see the Facebook welcome page as shown below. Now you have a facebook account, share whetever sorts of information with your friends freely (no payments).....
