Windows Explorer is the program that helps us to navigate from one location to another when we are either viewing or organizing our personal files, folders and even the programs’ files on our computers. While we are in the explorer window we can create folders, shortcuts, and organize our daily computing activities. Below are the procedures and tips that will help you learn how to open the explorer window and perform different activities within it on your Computer. First of all you have to open the Windows Explorer window. How to open the Windows Explorer: Right click on the start button Select Open Windows Explorer (if you’re using Windows 7 OS) or select Explore (if you’re using windows Xp and other earlier Versions of Microsoft Windows Operating System. You will see the Windows Explorer window containing folders and other Items stored in your system. Another way you can open Windows Explorer is: Click on the start button Select My Computer/ My Documents on the start menu. Also you can open Windows Explorer by just opening any folder/directory To create the folder on the Windows Explorer window just use the procedures we used when we were creating the folder on the desktop; Right click on the blank place inside the Windows Explorer window >Select New >Select Folder. To rename the folder in the Windows Explorer, use the above folder renaming procedures.
